Description About the Role: An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our HR / People Team on a fixed term basis. The Role will be reporting directly to the Site HR / People Advisor based in Stafford supporting our shared service team. The working hours are predominantly 8am - 4pm, with some flexibility required. Please note this is a 12 Month FTC to cover maternity leave. How will you contribute? • Supporting the site Managers and People Team with ER issues and minute taking in casework meetings, particularly with low level complexity absence, disciplinary and grievance issues, and writing supporting correspondence. • Creating letters and case packs for a range of ER matters including disciplinary, AWOL and flexible working etc. • Administering HR related documentation, such as invite letters, maternity/paternity letters etc. • Providing ER advice to management teams and answering queries on a range of ER and people matters. • Maintaining and updating trackers with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ensure the HR filing systems and personnel files are maintained. • Management of the People Team inbox and case log, scheduling meetings in a timely manner. • Producing Weekly and monthly reports for a range of stakeholders. • Supporting the site HR Manager / HR Advisor with employee training needs. • New Starters / Leavers Process: administration of on-boarding processes for new employees, including induction process, and support management teams with system transactions. • Play a key role in supporting the site EDI and Social Value / CSR initiatives. • Keeping up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices. What will you bring? • Ideally, you’ll be currently working in a HR environment with some experience, or it may be that you’ve just completed or working towards your CIPD and you’re looking for the first step into the HR world. • You’ll be a confident communicator with the ability to communicate to a variety of stakeholders. • You’ll be proactive and have a solution driven approach. • HR related qualifications (desirable not essential). • A desire to learn and develop within HR. • Organised nature with the ability to prioritise. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to communicate with a wide range of people. What do we offer?
