Responsibilities Commercial Growth Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on brokers, direct MGAs, and insurers. Leverage your industry network to generate leads and accelerate the sales cycle. Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Develop and execute strategic sales plans. Stay informed on competitor offerings and industry developments to position Ignite effectively. Negotiate and collaborate on structuring commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives. Industry Engagement Represent Ignite at industry events, conferences, and networking forums. Provide market intelligence to internal teams, shaping product and marketing strategies. Contribute to promotional initiatives, including thought leadership content. Sales Operations & Reporting. Maintain accurate records of opportunities, pipeline activity, and financial forecasts in CRM systems. QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For Established industry network, allowing for immediate business development impact. Track record in business development within the personal lines insurance market. Strong commercial acumen with expertise in consultative and enterprise sales. Confident negotiator with a history of closing high-value contracts. Ability to work independently while staying engaged with a collaborative team. Familiarity with CRM tools and a structured approach to pipeline management. Excellent presentation skills, capable of adapting messaging for different audiences. Nice to Have Experience securing major motor, home, or pet insurance software deals. Experience selling technology/software solutions to insurers, brokers, or MGAs. Knowledge of competitor platforms and the wider insurance tech ecosystem. Understanding of marketing and promotional strategies within the insurance sector. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to sales strategy.
