About the College
Hartlepool Sixth Form is the top performing Sixth Form college in the North East for student achievement, with a 100% pass rate for over 30 courses and 98% of our students progressing to either College or employment.
We have been delivering highly successful courses for more than 50 years as the only dedicated sixth form college in the area. Situated on the outskirts of the town centre, we have excellent facilities for both academic and vocational study, including fully equipped science labs, and have recently invested in a new digital academy and a health simulation ward.

We are seeking a driven, high performing candidate, with experience in designing and leading programmes for young people. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of world-class Higher Education Institutions and the skills to forge external partnerships with influential employers, universities, and key stakeholders to create exclusive opportunities for students.
About the Role
Working as part of the Hartlepool Sixth Form team, our High Achievers Programme Lead will shape this ambitious programme and have the opportunity to work with a range of both internal and external stakeholders. In this rewarding post, our Programme Lead will play a pivotal role in students achieving their next steps and career ambitions.
Role Responsibilities
* Design and deliver a high-quality High Achievers Programme
* Curate exclusive academic, enrichment, and super curricular opportunities for students
* Provide high-class mentorship on Oxbridge preparation and alternative career pathways including high-profile apprenticeships
* Deliver advanced training in elite study techniques, strategic time management, and growth mindset to maximize academic success
Qualifications
* Experience in developing and/or leading a programme(s)
* A passion for academic excellence and a proven track record in education, student development, or high achievers’ mentorship
* Exceptional communication, leadership, and organisational skills, with a flair for inspiring and motivating others
* Ability to work collaboratively with students and colleagues to review student progress, supporting achievement of learning and personal development goals
* Minimum Level 5 PGCE, Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent
* Experience in development, delivery, and assessment of level 3 programmes
