We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant with a focus on IESVE to join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy. Our client is a leading player in the sustainable design and energy performance space, committed to driving environmental innovation in the built environment. Key Responsibilities of the Sustainability Consultant:
Conduct energy and environmental performance analysis using IESVE software.
Provide expert guidance on Building Regulations Part L and Part O compliance for new and existing buildings.
Support energy assessments and calculations for planning applications and building certifications, including SBEM.
Collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead sustainability assessments and contribute to the development of energy strategies that meet regulatory and client requirements.
Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.The Ideal Sustainability Consultant will:
Have detailed working knowledge of Building Regulations Part L, including energy performance requirements.
Have extensive experience in IESVE software for energy modelling and environmental simulations.
Be familiar with Part O regulations concerning overheating and SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model).
Have a background in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technology.
Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide clear solutions.
Have excellent communication and client management skills.
