Sales Engineer | South East England
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Sales Engineer based in the South where you will be joining an international distributor of industrial MRO products. As Sales Engineer you are responsible for the development of the sales structure and sales management in the region.
They provide a comprehensive range of metal cutting tooling and tool regrind services to all major manufacturing sectors including Oil and Gas, Aerospace and Automotive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* To work with the external sales & technical team and local management on the opportunities within the customer base.
* Achieving sales targets set by the Company. Developing the annual operating plan and long-range plan based upon targets set for the area.
* •Working with existing customers and newly developed customers to sell high volume & extensive range range of cutting tools.
* Being responsible for your own area and developing new and existing customer accounts
* Working towards KPIs and Targets as set by the Business and your Line Manager
KEY SKILLS
* Must have a technical and/or sales background and a history of working in an engineering production environment
* Appropriate technical qualifications or equivalent experience
* Ideally someone who has been on shop floor and then into Cutting tools sales
* Must have a valid UK Driving License
* Ability to provide customers with technical reports using Microsoft Office functions.
