Registered Care Manager Rotherham Full time, permanent Competitive salary Overview Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered CQC Manager to lead their supported living service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supported living services, both community-based and residential, particularly with young adults and children living with physical disabilities, challenging behaviour, neurodiversity and mental health. Duties Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your duties will include: Conducting new care assessments, ensuring that the service user's needs are met and the care provided is person-centered and always exceeds expectations. Ensuring care plan reviews are undertaken and risk assessments are complete and up to date. Conducting quality surveys and audits and implementing action plans to drive improvement within the service. Building rapport and professional relationships with multidisciplinary teams and local authorities. Attending local managers meetings and health and social care settings. Ensuring complaints and incidents are handled efficiently, timely and that lessons are learnt, and action plans are put into place. Responsible for the day to day running of the service. Providing leadership, support and mentoring to the office team, senior care assistants and team of care assistants. Ensuring that the business meets CQC requirements and local authority regulations, also ensuring internal databases are kept up to date at all times. Being part of the manager on call support rota, providing telephone support to seniors during emergency situations; one in every 4 weeks. Experience Relevant qualifications in healthcare - Level 5 or be working towards it At least 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager with the CQC At least 2 years’ experience working with children and young adults, within a supported living setting Excellent communication and leadership skills Have a strong character and be a good communicator Be a reflective leader Work closely with the owners to develop growth plans for the service Be passionate about high levels of care Have a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle and business insurance Expected start date: 06/01/2025
