EXAM INVIGILATOR
Salary: Grade 3 point 11 (paid on a claim basis)
Required on a part-time basis, during exam seasons throughout the year.
Paid at an hourly rate (£12.17 per hour)
Invigilators are responsible for conducting examinations in the presence of candidates. They play a key role in upholding the integrity of the external examination/assessment process.
Responsibilities
The role of the invigilator includes:
* Ensuring all candidates have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
* Ensuring the security of the examination materials before, during, and after the examination.
* Preventing possible candidate malpractice.
* Preventing possible administrative failures.
Hours of Work
November- 2 weeks, December- 1 week, January- 1 week, March- 2 weeks, May- 3 weeks, June- 4 weeks.
You may not be required full days every day. This will be mutually agreed upon with the school. A commitment of a minimum of 3 days per week availability is expected.
