Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: North West England, Cheshire, Macclesfield Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Duties: The Cover Supervisor is responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher. Duties include managing classroom behaviour, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, ensuring a safe learning environment, and reporting back on student progress. Required Qualifications: - GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain discipline and manage classroom dynamics Education: A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential Knowledge and Skills: - Good understanding of classroom management techniques - Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans effectively - Strong communication and organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: - Teaching Assistant qualification - Safeguarding training certification Working Conditions: - Work is primarily conducted in a classroom setting - Full-time hours, typically following the school term calendar - May require occasional interaction with parents and school staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
