We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Lung Cancer Team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and efficient care for patients throughout their lung cancer journey and provide vital follow-up care across all three of our sites. You will manage patients with complex needs, maintaining responsibility and accountability for all aspects of professional nursing practice.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and treatment delivery, supporting both patients and healthcare professionals with expert clinical knowledge. You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatment plans, including the management of care pathways and the provision of non-medical prescribing as appropriate. Your leadership and specialised knowledge will enable you to drive improvements in practice, developing and implementing clinical protocols and guidelines, ensuring that our lung cancer care services remain at the forefront of patient-centered care.
