Main duties of the job
As Divisional Medical Director -- Mental Health Services, you will provide strategic and clinical leadership, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and service development across the division.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading medical staff, fostering clinical excellence and innovation.
* Driving quality governance, service improvement, and workforce planning.
* Ensuring patient safety, engagement, and experience remain a top priority.
* Collaborating with senior leaders, external partners, and commissioners.
* Overseeing the recruitment, retention, and development of medical staff.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
* GMC registration and Approved Clinician status.
* Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
* Experience in clinical governance, workforce planning, and quality improvement.
* A commitment to transforming mental health services and enhancing patient care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Full Registration with the General Medical Council
* At least 3 years' experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist or Associate Specialist or Specialist
