Job Description:
A vacancy has arisen for a Document Controller to cover all operating locations across the Wincanton contract for Hinkley Point C (HPC) where Wincanton are playing an important role in Helping Britain achieve Net Zero. This is a key role that will be central to the successful control and management of contract deliverable documentation as per the ONR License Conditions.
Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history.
The role will report into the Contract Compliance Manager.

Day to Day
* Play a key role in delivering HPC contract deliverable documentation within an integrated contract team.
* Provide support to the Operational team to ensure all submitted records comply with ONR License Conditions.
* Work closely with the Operational team to ensure “Right First Time” document quality before submission to HPC systems.
* Become the contract SME for Document Control systems and any other associated systems; eg the HPC EDRMS, Field View.
* Present statistics to the Document Control Manager to monitor performance of Operations and Document Control functions in relation to document management processes.
* Attend training courses, conferences and meetings, as required, to be able to perform the role effectively.
* To undertake such additional duties as may be reasonably required to support the continued successful delivery of the contract.
* Seek Continuous Improvement on all aspects regarding Document Control across the contract.
What will you bring?
* Organised with strong administration skills to ensure appropriate collation and tracking of information.
* Challenging and inquisitive in a way that promotes creation of Document Control best practice for Project.
* Must possess strong Microsoft Office skills.
* A team player who can focus and concentrate on their own personal tasks whilst maintaining a clear view on wider contract requirements.
* Experience of Document Control and electronic document management systems would be advantageous.
* Experience in an industry with high standards of Compliance, H&S & record keeping.
