With more than 1200 sites offering customers a growing dual-fuel strategy, a versatile valeting offer and a convenient retail and 'food to go' portfolio. They are looking to hire a highly diligent Infrastructure Manager, who will play a pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency of revenue-generating assets while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and safety. This position requires a proactive approach to managing contractors, developing reporting systems, overseeing maintenance, and driving infrastructure projects to completion. This is a field-based role with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays, requiring strong project management, stakeholder collaboration, and problem-solving skills. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee the performance of maintenance and repair operations across all sites. Develop and implement appropriate reporting tools to maximize efficiency and revenue. Administer and monitor the Facility Management (FM) system to ensure its effectiveness. Conduct audits and inspections, including Fairbanks site audits, electrical inspections, asbestos surveys, and vapor recovery assessments. Project Management Lead the management of regional and national infrastructure projects as directed. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, with adherence to regulatory and safety standards. Third-Party Management Maintain and improve contractor relationships, ensuring high standards of safety and performance. Issue permits, approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and audit contractor compliance. Identify and maximize third-party revenue streams. Health & Safety Drive contractor safety initiatives and performance improvements. Collaborate with the HSE Manager to maintain integrated health and safety systems. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Stakeholder Engagement Act as a liaison between operations, administration, and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and ensure alignment. Communicate with senior management through reports, presentations, and meetings. ________________________________________ Dimensions of the Role Financial Oversight Support the management of a £1.75M annual maintenance budget and £800K development budget. People Management Work collaboratively with Area Managers, Regional Managers, and other key stakeholders. Other Contextual Details Role involves significant travel across sites, potentially exceeding 40,000 miles per year. Participation in emergency response rotation on weekends. ________________________________________ Knowledge & Skills Required Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, regulatory compliance, and infrastructure management. Health & Safety: Experience in contractor safety management and risk assessments. Project Management: Proven ability to lead and deliver projects, including budgeting and resource allocation. IT Proficiency: Skilled in Excel and FM systems. Communication: Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
