A fantastic opportunity has arisen to become part of our team who work across Teesside in providing assessment and formulation to Children and Young People who may have a Neurodevelopmental disorder.
In September 2020, Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust launched a new service model in North Tees, which has streamlined the multi-disciplinary assessment and formulation for children and young people who may have an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or ADHD. Following the success and positive feedback of the model, we launched in South Tees in September 2021.
Candidates must have 18 months post-qualifying experience including sign-off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
Main duties of the job
The team is made up of a Team Manager / Service Manager, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, ASD coordinators, ASD Clinicians, and Admin.
This process is fast-paced, and the ideal applicant will be extremely organised and self-motivated to provide a high-quality service to the young people within the service and their families.
The ideal applicants will have relevant skills and experience in the area of ASD, preferably have post-qualifying experience, and additional qualifications and training or be willing to work towards these within an agreed time frame.
This post represents an exciting opportunity to be involved in the development of the team and service. The post holders will become part of a motivated, supportive, and focused assessment service. Professional supervision (individual and group) will be provided, and there are CPD opportunities.
