With an increasingly strong pipeline of commercial enquiries, Transmission Dynamics is seeking to recruit a business development professional for one new full-time vacancy.
This role will require active liaison between potential/live clients and internal technical teams to support efficient and effective servicing of incoming business enquiries.
The role will primarily involve:
1. Responding to initial client enquiries and leading dialogue to understand their specific requirements.
2. Organising, documenting and following up potential client meetings.
3. Advising on appropriate product/service solutions to meet these (in liaison with the technical team).
4. Developing and deploying resulting techno-commercial proposals to the clients.
5. Proactively reviewing incoming tender opportunities and where appropriate supporting commercial and technical colleagues to respond to these.
6. Supporting review of terms and conditions and contractual documentation received from potential clients.
7. Working closely with the Business Development Director to continuously improve Business Development documentation/processes.
8. Any other commercial support required to support ongoing business development.
Ideal candidates will be talented, passionate and hard-working, with a great intuition for relationship management and commercial thinking. They will have excellent team-working abilities and strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Essential Skills and Experience
* Demonstrable client-facing commercial sales experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Skills or experience related to Industrial Internet of Things products/services.
* Experience of commercial contract negotiations.
