The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Castle Manager to lead our hospitality team to consistently deliver an outstanding experience to our exclusive use guests. The role demands a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of exclusive use and / or high end hospitality management, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring Aldourie Castle continues to shine as a premier destination for both relaxation and adventure. You will: Lead the Castle Team and be an exemplary leader. Develop your team to be outstanding hosts Lead daily operations, ensuring high quality, and warm friendly service at every touch point Manage staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Coordinate exclusive events, private stays, and retreats. Uphold the estate's heritage, working with WildLand on conservation efforts Own the Castle Sales and Marketing plans in partnership with the Sales & Marketing Team,. Create bespoke guest itineraries and ensure personalised stays. Handle budgeting, reporting, and operational planning. Ensure health and safety compliance across the castle and grounds. Work with local vendors for premium guest services. Represent Aldourie Castle and WildLand’s values in all interactions. Deliver on all key performance indicators relating to people, guest, sustainability and commercial targets. Es sential experience & skills Primarily we are looking for individuals who share our purpose, passion and values. To be successful in this role you will need an engaging personality, positivity and resilience and great people and organisational skills. You must have Leadership: A proven track record as a respected team leader. Luxury Market Hospitality Experience: Proven experience in a luxury hotel or estate, with a focus on guest and concierge service as well as operational management. Guest Relations: Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and address their needs professionally. Results Orientated: You will be highly effective through leadership and the guest experience to delivery of strategic and operational goals. Problem-solving: Ability to manage issues quickly and effectively in a high-pressure environment. Organisation: Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting. Event Support: Experience assisting in the coordination of events, ensuring smooth execution. Essential experience & skills We’re looking for: Leadership: Strong team management and motivation skills. Hospitality Management: Proven experience in luxury property or estate management, or high quality venues focused on delivering high-end guest experiences. Event Coordination: Expertise in organising exclusive events and stays. Financial Management: Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and reporting. Commercial Management : Proficiency in sales and marketing fo your venue. Guest Relations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for personalised service.
