The Supply Chain Solutions Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting project managers and contributing to the development of business cases. This role involves managing project governance, performing data analysis, and modelling warehouse and transport capacities. The analyst will also engage in strategic horizon planning to ensure the supply chain's efficiency and effectiveness within the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects. Ensure all project activities are aligned with business objectives.
2. Business Case Development: Contribute to the creation of comprehensive business cases to support new initiatives and projects.
3. Project Governance: Manage project governance processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
4. Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within the supply chain.
5. Capacity Modelling: Develop and maintain models for warehouse and transport capacity to optimize resource utilization.
6. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic horizon planning to forecast future supply chain needs and develop long-term strategies.
7. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain role, ideally within the fashion industry or a related sector.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
6. Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
Desirables:
1. Experience with budgeting and financial modeling.
2. Knowledge of supply chain automation technologies.
3. Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain management software.
4. Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP, PMP).
