Bruin are proud to be working with a well respected Financial Services brand based in Leeds in their search for a Financial Controller to come and join their existing team.
3 days a week in the Leeds office
So what are we looking for I hear you ask? Well, in short, we are looking for a fully qualified accountant, with exceptional leadership skills and previous working experience within a Financial Services environment.
Your day to day responsibilities will be:
* To ensure the Finance department functions effectively and efficiently
* Reporting to the Finance Director regarding all financial and accounting activities.
* Overseeing financial department employees in all day-to-day activities.
* Monthly Management Accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Annual Financial Statements and related estimates and judgements
* Regulatory reporting, including Internal daily client money calculation
* Tax compliance
* External Bank and Stock reconciliations
* Developing forecasts and budgets to assist and improve cost control
