The main focus of the role will include:
* Providing administrative and technical support to financial planners to ensure efficient client service.
* Preparing client reports, suitability letters, and financial planning documentation.
* Conducting research and analysis on financial products, investment strategies, and client portfolios.
* Managing client records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
* Liaising with clients and third parties, responding to queries, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
* Assisting with the preparation of financial plans and cash flow modelling.
* Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.
* Supporting the implementation of financial advice and monitoring ongoing client arrangements.
* Developing technical knowledge and financial planning skills with the opportunity to progress into a Paraplanner role.
To succeed in this role, the individual will need:
* Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and organisational skills.
* Experience in a financial planning, wealth management, or similar financial services environment.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically under pressure.
* Good understanding of financial products, pensions, investments, and protection policies.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in financial planning software and CRM systems.
* A relevant financial services qualification (such as CII Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning) or progress toward one is desirable.
