Join a highly respected manufacturing business as Interim HR Manager, covering a 12-14 month maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to step into a truly generalist leadership role within a collaborative and well-established team. The Role: As Interim HR Manager, you'll be responsible for the full HR remit, supporting a varied workforce. You'll lead and work alongside a capable HR Officer, providing operational and strategic HR support to the wider business. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day HR operations, managing everything from employee relations to recruitment and training. Provide advice and guidance to line managers on HR policies and procedures. Oversee absence management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures. Take ownership of mid- to senior-level recruitment activity. Support and develop the HR Officer. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company procedures. Drive employee engagement initiatives. Maintain and improve HR documentation and records. Contribute to HR projects. About You: Proven experience in an HR Manager role (5 years minimum). Strong UK employment law knowledge. Comfortable in a fast-paced, regulated, and operational environment. Previous experience in manufacturing or similar sector preferred. CIPD Level 7 qualified (or working towards); open to Level 5 for the right person. A practical, approachable HR leader who is happy to roll up their sleeves.
