We are looking for a proactive and strategic HR Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in aligning our people strategy with business priorities during an exciting period of transformation.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you'll be responsible for delivering HR initiatives that support workforce planning, talent development, organisational change, and employee engagement.
This role will be considered on a part time or full time basis with a flexible working pattern available. There is a requirement to be on site in Whiteley one day a week.
The Role
Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Strategic HR partnering with business leaders across key business areas
2. Leading workforce planning and supporting succession and talent pipeline development
3. Guiding recruitment efforts, interview coaching, and candidate selection
4. Supporting change management initiatives including restructuring and TUPE
5. Coaching managers and enabling leadership capability across functions
6. Driving employee engagement and championing DE&I initiatives
7. Managing employee relations and promoting a positive work environment
8. Using HR data and insights to inform decision-making and improve people outcomes
This is a hands-on, strategic role where you’ll influence key decisions and help shape the future of the organisation.
About You
You’re a commercially-minded HR professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys making a tangible impact. You build trust quickly, communicate with influence, and bring strong experience in HR partnering across complex or fast-paced organisations.
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
1. Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role
2. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
3. Experience in workforce planning, talent management, and organisational change
4. Confidence in coaching managers and leading through ambiguity
5. A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a strong business mindset
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels
7. Comfort working with HR data and analytics to inform decisions
