What will I be doing?
As a Transducer Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in developing high-performance transducers and audio components:
Simulation and Design: Perform dimensioning and finite element simulations (electromagnetic, mechanical, and acoustical) for transducer components and assemblies.
Documentation: Develop comprehensive design guidelines, working procedures, and technical reports to ensure alignment and clarity across teams.
Team Collaboration: Interface with product development engineers to ensure seamless integration of transducer designs into broader product systems.
Continuous Improvement: Maintain and enhance measurement capabilities and facilities while training colleagues on COMSOL templates and apps.
Production Support: Provide technical support during the development and mass production stages, including power tests, production test setups, and troubleshooting.What do I need to be successful?
Degree-level education (or equivalent) in acoustics, physics, or electronic engineering.
Deep understanding of the physical principles behind electrodynamic transducers.
Proficiency with software tools such as COMSOL, Matlab, LTspice, MicroCap, Akabak, and the Klippel R&D system - Solidworks, NX or Catia would be a bonus!
Understanding of sound radiation and room acoustics principles.
Experience with DFMA, DFMEA, and FMEA methodologies.Interested in the role? Then you can either:
