We are seeking a dedicated Children's Unit Manager to lead our LAC service in Nottingham, supporting children with diverse needs transitioning to independent living or family reunification.
Your role will involve managing the Supported Accommodation provision, ensuring the physical, emotional, and safety needs of children are safeguarded and promoted in line with Government Guidance and policies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in working with vulnerable children and young people. A strong understanding of child protection procedures and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Children's Unit team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and support for residents
* Develop and implement strategies to promote the health, well-being, and education of children in our care
* Collaborate with external agencies, including social services, healthcare providers, and education professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for children
* Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to statutory requirements and organisational policies
We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and opportunities for professional development.
