Senior Business Development Manager\n\nHybrid: 3 days a week in London\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work for a trailblazing Events company in a split role managing a small sales team alongside having your own clients and sales responsibilities.\n\nSupporting the Sales and Commercial Director and Founders to drive sales growth through new business development and existing client management: responsibilities include managing the sales team, leading on tenders, bids and submissions making sure content is pitch perfect and deadlines are met.\n\nThe role also focuses on innovation, bringing new services to the table and working with the leadership team in building a longer term sales strategy .\n\nCore Accountabilities:\n\nTeam Management:\nLead and manage the team with clear performance objectives.\nDevelop and measure sales plans and targets.\nSchedule, prioritize, and delegate work flow.\nPipeline Management & Sales Process:\nGenerate leads and lead the sales process from start to finish.\nDevelop outbound sales collateral.\nDrive innovation, technology, and sustainability.\nLead pitch/bid process and develop business in new markets.\nAccount Management:\nManage client relationships and budgets by event/venue.\nEnsure contracts are accurate and complete.\nImprove overall margin and coach the team on best practices.Knowledge/Experience/Skills - Essential:\n\nConsiderable experience managing a team.\nPrevious Sales and negotiations experience.\nSolid industry networks and contacts within events, hospitality or FMCG\nCommercial awareness and identifying lucrative opportunities.\nInfluential presentation and communication skills.\nRisk and relationship management.Preferred:\n\nIn-depth experience in the events/festival/sports/venues industry.\nHigh-level PowerPoint, Canva, or Adobe skillsIf you have the above skills and experience and are interested in finding out more - please apply today \n\nor email
