About the Role: As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching the curriculum to KS4 and KS5 students, preparing them for GCSE and A-Level exams. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of the department and help guide students in their learning journey, preparing them for careers in healthcare, social care, and related fields.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging lessons to KS4 and KS5 students in Health and Social Care
* Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
* Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's offerings and student outcomes
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree in Health and Social Care, or a related field
* QTS or PGCE (or relevant teaching qualification)
* Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4 and KS5 (or a passion to develop this)
* Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
