Compliance Business Partner Halifax, West Yorkshire Up to £67,000 (DOE) An exciting opportunity has risen to join our Compliance Team here at Covéa Insurance as a Compliance Business Partner. The Compliance Team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization operates within the legal, regulatory, and ethical boundaries relevant to its industry. The role is a hybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and from our Halifax office. What will I be doing? Ensure that all new and amended FCA requirements are identified, interpreted, assessed for impact and communicated accordingly. To conduct and support 2nd line monitoring which supports your business area understand any risks or gaps that need to be addressed. Undertake and/or co-ordinate assurance activity to assess whether procedures are compliant with the regulatory requirements To co-ordinate and oversee Corporate regulatory initiatives that span multiple business areas. To provide Compliance advice and guidance to areas of business on new products, new business opportunities, and changes to existing business relationships and changes to existing products To co-ordinate responses to FCA consultations, thematic work and routine enquiries To conduct and support 2nd line monitoring which supports your business area understand any risks or gaps that need to be addressed. Horizon scan and provide relevant summaries and support to ensure your business area is fully equipped to meet any regulatory requirements To engage with all lines of business, including attendance at committees, to assist them in delivering regulatory compliance and fair customer outcomes You should apply if you have… Extensive experience and understanding of the General Insurance industry Detailed knowledge of FCA regulation Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines Significant Compliance experience A very strong track record of delivery of compliance initiatives within Insurance. The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with management teams across the business. Compliance qualification or equivalent level of experience.
