THE ROLE:
The HRM role reports into a leading Director working as part of the senior leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity to be the lead person in HR where there is true involvement in all key areas of the business. This role will offer excellent job satisfaction and the chance to make your mark, add value, and make a real difference. Working in a very positive and team-driven organisation with a strong open culture, this role would suit a capable generalist HR professional who enjoys being fully involved in the People strategy, managing the full employee life cycle, and has the confidence to influence and challenge the status quo. The candidate should have a keenness to refine, develop, and embed the people strategy across the business while supporting the management team and getting involved in HR projects such as restructures, policy alignment, and developing, training, and supporting the Executive and Management team. The role can be worked on a 3-day-a-week basis or spread across 5 days (21 hours a week).
The role of the HR Manager will cover all areas of HR for the business, working closely with the senior Executive team and Managers, supporting from the top down and bottom up. In this role, there is the real opportunity to take full ownership of the role and make your mark working in an excellent company and culture.
THE CANDIDATE:
1. CIPD qualified.
2. Strong generalist HR background.
3. Experience of implementing, embedding in, and aligning HR policies.
4. Previous experience leading on restructures, ER, Recruitment, Talent, with some experience working with the executive board, supporting Managers, and being the "go to" person for all of HR in a business.
5. Excellent written and communication skills.
6. Experience of performance management, policy writing and implementation, and up-to-date with the changes in employment law.
