Job summary Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Cancer Services office in maintaining accurate records of new and existing cancer referrals. Work within the Cancer Two Week Wait office to efficiently schedule and book appointments for patients in accordance with Trust and National guidelines, while also demonstrating a target-driven approach towards the front-end of the cancer pathways. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth referral management processes, supporting adherence to trust guidelines, and contributing to the achievement of cancer standards. We are currently looking for two candidates within the TWR Department Main duties of the job Manage patient registrations and appointment bookings in the Two Week Rule office, ensuring timely scheduling for patients referred under the Two Week Rule for suspected cancer. This will involve mastering cancer Two Week Rule pathways for various tumour specificities, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in the registration and booking process. The department is very busy and the post would best suit someone with good organisational, communication and prioritisation skills.Post is for 37.5 hours per week and involve working at both Epsom and St Helier as and when required basis.
