Company Overview:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England. This role works out of our Head office, Redeham Hall
Role Purpose/Objective:
Ensure the effective and efficient day to day running of all plant, and to minimise the downtime of plant on site. To repair and service the plant to a professional high-quality standard
Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety
* Ensure the working environment is safe for carrying out the necessary tasks
* Ensure appropriate PPE is worn for the task being carried out
* Ensure that site safety rules are adhered to
* Quarantine plant if it is unsafe to use
* Ensure that you abide to the laws and regulations of UK Highways
* Comply with RAMS applicable to Mobile Fitters
* Ensure management of COSHH systems and substances
Quality
* Regular liaison with Breakdown Supervisor to ensure good communication between the workshop, office, and site, with a view to improving the quality of service given to our sites.
* Ensure work is carried out in a timely manner.
* Liaise with site management on the status of all breakdowns.
* Show professionalism and be an ambassador for the company.
* Attention to detail, to ensure you are providing the best possible service.
* Ensure a good working relationship on site.
* Repair and service the plant to a professional high-quality standard.
* Ensure plant is fit for purpose.
* Notification of potential reoccurring issues to the Breakdown Supervisor.
* Ensure jobs on tablet are filled out accurately and on time.
* Ensure correct parts are made available for the daily tasks, via the Breakdown Supervisor.
* Report any plant neglect or miss-use immediately to Breakdown Supervisor.
* Ability to work under own initiative and possess good problem-solving skills.
* Ensure Compliance with FORS regulations.
* Report any road traffic incidents to the FORS Manager
Commercial
* Minimise downtime on all machines.
* Carry out repairs in a cost-efficient manner.
* Advise the Site Managers and Foremen on how to operate the plant effectively and efficiently

Experience/skills required:
* An NVQ qualification in Plant Maintenance
* CSCS qualification
* Plant and product knowledge
* CPCS/NPORS non-operative qualifications
* Good communication skills
* Team player with ability to work independently with limited supervision
Qualifications:
Absolute minimum GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
