Job Overview
We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Psychologist to join our Pain Management team in North East Essex, part-time 22.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for managing a complex clinical caseload and providing clinical leadership within the service.
As the Clinical Lead, you will guide the direction of patient care, oversee service delivery, and ensure the highest standards of practice, all while leading a committed multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient-centered care.
You will need significant experience in pain management services with strong clinical leadership experience and the ability to focus on guiding and supporting the team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
* Clinical Leadership: Provide oversight and direction for the pain management service.
* Caseload Management: Manage a complex and varied caseload, working autonomously.
* Service Delivery & Development: Lead the service, actively contribute to service development.
* Educational Leadership: Facilitate educational sessions and lead group programs.
* Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with system partners to ensure a seamless service.
* Line Management: Provide support and guidance to team members.
* Autonomous Practice: Work independently while contributing to service improvement.
Minimum Requirements
You will be required to travel to clinic venues in Colchester and Clacton; therefore, a valid driver's license and access to a car are necessary.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
* Professional qualification in Clinical Psychology at doctoral level.
* Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
