PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the Think Big Programme Coordinator, the Think Big Assistant will be responsible for inspiring young people from diverse communities across Nottinghamshire to embrace technology and education.
Using the power of football, the Think Big Assistant will excite and trigger interest in sports and tech, encouraging them to consider rewarding careers in technology-based jobs through a structured and innovative tech programme in schools.
The Think Big programme is delivered in collaboration with Ideagen – one of the world’s fastest growing tech companies with headquarters in Nottingham.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support the delivery of innovative and creative virtual and face-to-face assemblies and workshops in school and community settings across Nottinghamshire promoting tech in sport.
2. Support the creation of a bespoke curriculum for football specific tech roles.
3. Support the delivery of workshops to young people on match days at the City Ground.
4. Act as an advocate for technology and innovative thinking.
5. Support the development of relationships with partners and stakeholders to increase programme visibility.
6. Support the communication of the programme’s success internally and externally, sharing good news and practice.
7. Support the Think Big Programme Coordinator with the collation of data and information relating to programme impact.
8. Deliver assemblies and workshops at secondary schools with audiences of 200+ pupils.

1. Confident, dynamic and engaging personality.
2. Knowledge and interest in tech, sport and wider STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts and Maths) subjects.
3. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
4. Ability to inspire and motivate young people.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
6. Comfortable presenting to large audiences in school and community settings.
7. Technology advocate with a passion for innovation.
8. Proactive attitude towards engaging and managing stakeholders.

14. Full, clean UK driving license with access to own vehicle.
