Brilliant opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant based in a Manchester Primary School, M33.
Full Time role (8.30am-3.30pm) commencing Tuesday 22nd April 2025 within a Year 5 class up until the end of the academic year.
A Primary school in Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team. The school is rated “Outstanding” by OFSTED Framework and is a three-form primary school wanting someone who is confident and able to contribute to the quality service this school provides.
This role is to support a child on a 1 to 1 basis who has complex needs. The child has autism and needs someone who is nurturing and able to overcome barriers to develop rapport with children. The role may also involve general support to the rest of the class depending on the child’s needs that day.
The school is looking for someone who is:
* Familiar with the Year 5 national curriculum
* Nurturing and able to build great rapport
* Experienced working with SEN children
* Preferred experience within a classroom setting
The school has a positive atmosphere ensuring the wellbeing of their students is catered to by friendly and supportive staff. The team is comprised of experienced and junior members, providing an atmosphere based on knowledge and creativity.
