We are looking for bank workers to join as controller responders for the Carecall247 service. This post involves answering calls within a busy Control Centre and providing an emergency response to customers that require assistance and/or have experienced a fall. The post holder will be part of a team responding to Provide customers requiring a support visit.
This role is based across Essex - applicants must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle for work, and be available to cover all Carecall247 bases (Colchester, Chelmsford, Braintree).
• To provide a timely, effective response to emergency alerts/alarms from Carecall247 customers within their own homes in line with Provide Policies and Procedures including falls triage and customer lifting following a non-injurious fall, responding to technical issues and emergencies.
• To carry out basic Risk Assessments and Health and Safety checks.
• Develop skills in undertaking basic problem solving and repairs to a variety of telecare alarm systems.
• To undertake the assessment and triage of a client who has fallen in their home and, where this is a non-injurious fall, to safely use the slides sheets and Raizer lifting chair to lift the customer.
• Maintain accurate records of all responses attended and provide written logs for Control Centre.

Main Duties
• To monitor and answer calls on the call handling platform in line with Telecare Services Association and local guidelines.
• To provide a timely, effective response to emergency alerts/alarms from Carecall247 customers within their own homes, workplaces or in Sheltered Schemes
• To complete onward referrals, in consultation with the customer to relevant health and social care services
• To provide a responder service
