The successful candidate should have prior experience in sales (preferably in publishing or a related field) A keen interest in renewable energy and water resources management, as well as a friendly and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, particularly with international clients, and an aptitude for building business relationships.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Promotion:
Promote and sell display and classified advertisements in the printed bi-monthly publication.
Sell advertisements, industry guide logos, and other promotional options on the website.
Promote and sell exhibition stands and sponsorships for the company's international events.
Oversee a small team to ensure effective execution of all above activities.Business Development:
Develop and execute strategies for business development.
Increase the client base by conducting research, attending face-to-face meetings, and nurturing relationships.Client and Team Management:
Oversee the communication system (CRM) and ensure it is upgraded as needed.
