Job Description
Key responsibilities of credit controller:
* Managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payment of their invoices.
* Resolving customer queries related to invoices and payments.
* Working closely with the sales team to implement credit policies and procedures.
* Monitoring customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
* Reviewing credit applications and references to set credit limits and terms.
* Producing monthly reports and statement reconciliations.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer data.
* Assisting in the monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
* Escalation to legal experience
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Ability to work in a team and independently.
