Do you have experience working on purpose-built student accommodation and high rise build to rent projects? Leading company with award-winning projects continues to enjoy success and expand their portfolio of developments.
As a result, they are seeking a candidate to work out of their offices on the outskirts of Manchester, liaising with the design team from conception to Stage 4/5. You will have at least 10 years' relevant experience and be able to work with full autonomy, managing external consultants and ensuring deadlines are met.
The role:
* Lead external and internal project design teams, organising & coordinating design for sub-contractors
* Provide design management for schemes to ensure deadlines are met
* Manage budget and resources for projects
* Ensure accurate records are kept of all design changes
* Assist with developing a design delivery schedule
* Work closely with project Director to record design & cost issues
Requirements:
* Background in either architecture, design and construction management or architectural technology degree
* Experience as a Technical or Design Manager
* Up-to-date knowledge of construction standards and regulations, with practical knowledge of construction process
* Management experience
* Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Experience of Asite & Viewpoint
* Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft
