As the Director or Senior Manager, you will report to the Senior Vice President of Finance with 2 or 3 line reports from the Tax department. The role is responsible for a wide range of tax-related activities including Corporate Tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing covering the UK and numerous jurisdictions around the world. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our Tax Department, our Finance Department and other key internal stakeholders as well as our external tax advisors to ensure efficient management of tax compliance and reporting activities globally. The role will be based in our Edinburgh office with the flexibility to work from home as per our internal policy. Principal Responsibilities And Essential Duties Management and review of UK corporate tax computations and returns along with associated documentation (Group Relief, RDEC report, CIR return). Management and review of tax disclosures for company statutory accounts. Management and review of International corporate tax computations and returns. Management and review of UK and International VAT/GST returns. Oversee tax filing and payment obligations of the team to ensure tax compliance obligations are met globally. Management and review of quarterly Transfer Pricing adjustments across the group. Coordinate Transfer Pricing documentation as required for the group. Review and assist with Year End Tax provisions across the group. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure that tax matters are effectively managed. Assist in tax planning and structuring initiatives to optimize the group’s tax position. Managing tax audits and liaising with global tax advisors on all requests. Delegation to and development of tax team members. Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Chartered Institute of Tax (Desirable) Significant tax experience in industry and/or similar positions Staff Management Experience of the following applications: Outlook, Excel, Word You will have: Strong attention to detail Oral/Written communication skills Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Willingness to take on new work Interact well with all levels within the business Organised Equal Opportunities We are an equal opportunities employer.
