Description Salary £27,269 - £31,067 Per Annum | Permanent, Full Time | 37 hours per week Education – ICT Technical Support Officer (Grade 6) A Technical Support Officer vacancy has arisen with LCC's Digital Services - Education Operations Centre (EOC). The primary function of the Education Operations Centre is to provide 1st and 2nd line Telephone, Remote and On-Site support services (Curriculum Visits) to schools across Lancashire. Curriculum Visits range from weekly to half termly visits of either 3 or 6 hours. We are looking for a person who can represent LCC Digital Services and use their experience and knowledge to help schools continue to be at the forefront of Digital Learning. They will need to support the ever-growing need for ICT within education. This permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to advance their career in ICT within the Education sector and wants to be part of a forward thinking, thriving and supportive organisation. The successful candidate must have their own car, a full UK driving licence and be able to use this for travelling to schools as required. Mileage and parking costs will be reimbursed if employees are using their car for this purpose. This position is intended primarily to deliver Curriculum Visits. You must have or be able to pass an enhanced DBS check. The ideal candidate will have prior proven experience in a similar role and be proficient in ICT management systems. Applicants must demonstrate the flexibility to work efficiently in a busy and fast-moving environment, attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
