CMS are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated Assistant Paralegal or Paralegal to join our Legal Services Unit team in our Glasgow or Edinburgh office. The Legal Services Unit is the central paralegal team at CMS, assisting the associates and partners across the different departments in the UK offices on a wide variety of tasks and projects., This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a number of different lawyers and clients across the UK and gain exposure to a variety of areas of law. Examples of the type of work you could get involved in are:
* Reviewing documents for relevance in the context of litigation disclosure exercises;
* Assisting with document reviews in relation to data subject access requests;
* Various tasks related to contentious workstreams, such as preparing disclosure and hearing bundles of documents for employment tribunal cases;
* Preparing first draft documents;
* Reviewing or redacting contracts.

A degree in law or equivalent qualification or previous paralegal experience is preferred.
