Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £100 Per day Job Description: As a Learning Support Assistant in Hazel Grove, Greater Manchester, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs or disabilities within an educational setting. Your primary role will involve assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans, monitoring student progress, and providing one-to-one support as needed. Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities in the classroom Assisting teachers in implementing individual education plans Providing one-to-one support to students as required Monitoring and recording student progress Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support Supporting students during educational outings and extracurricular activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills: Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools First Aid certification Working Conditions: Contract role with full-time hours Work within a supportive educational environment Potential for involvement in extracurricular activities All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
