The school is seeking to recruit an Assistant Headteacher who will lead on Quality of Education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Regularly evaluate the quality of education and impact this has upon student achievement.
2. Lead a team of support staff who support student achievement.
3. Lead intervention and tutoring strategies.
4. Alongside the Senior Deputy Headteacher, be responsible for the academic progress of KS3 & KS4.
5. Lead the school’s Pupil Premium strategy.
6. Be a member of our leadership team that ensures the quality of provision at Whickham School is excellent.
7. Coach and mentor colleagues in ensuring they are excellent practitioners.
8. Be a member of our quality assurance and teaching and learning teams.
This role is aimed at colleagues who are passionate about making a difference for young people and feel they can do this through leading a cohort of students.
