We are seeking a highly reliable and security-conscious Driver/Escort/Forklift Operator for a 3-month contract, operating within a Part 145 approved environment. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including the safe and efficient transportation of goods and personnel, secure escort duties within restricted areas, and proficient operation of forklifts for material handling, all while adhering to strict security protocols and Part 145 regulations. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, efficiency, and security, capable of quickly integrating into our team for this short-term assignment. Responsibilities Adhere to all documented Company Quality System procedures when carrying out operational duties Conduct material orders/movements in the correct priority sequence Ensure all items are unloaded/handled according to the logistics/airworthiness directives Ensure all pick, pack and handling system transactions are performed correctly Ensure all documents printed are in order by sorting them before packing/box closure Ensure all physical movements are following by confirmation in SAP system and link paperwork properly with the parts when required Put stock away in the correct location after picking and/or packing Ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times Endeavour to improve quality of work wherever possible Inform the Manager/Team Leader of any process errors or system issues in a timely manner Assist the Warehouse Management with any reasonable adhoc request To operate cross functionally across the Warehouse functions (inbound, outbound, repairs) To assist Receiving and other warehouse activities Carry out stock checks when requested Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and PT 145 requirements Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities Assist with other tasks as required by the supervisor Be vigilant in regard to FOD (Foreign object Debris) control Complete the 3-month contract period with a high level of performance and professionalism Adapt quickly to the company's specific processes and procedures Potentially assist with the training and handover of responsibilities to permanent staff. Driving Duties (Operate company vehicles (Vans 3.5T Van and forklifts.) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies Transport personnel and materials to designated locations within the facility and off-site as required Perform daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly Assist with loading and unloading vehicles Escort Duties Escort personnel and visitors within the PT 145 environment, ensuring adherence to security and safety protocols Provide clear and concise instructions to escorted personnel Forklift Operation (Part 145 Environment) Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load and unload materials and equipment within the facility Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues Ensure proper storage and handling of materials, adhering to weight limits and safety guidelines Assist in loading and unloading of aircraft parts and components Skill Set Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain certification) Proven experience in driving, transportation, and forklift operation Experience in escort or security duties within a regulated environment is highly desirable Must be eligible to maintain a security clearance Demonstrated understanding of Part 145 regulations and their application to aircraft maintenance Ability to operate various types of vehicles and material handling equipment Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, particularly within a PT145 environment Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and security protocols Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under strict security and regulatory guidelines Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and security awareness Ability to lift and move heavy objects Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and security vetting Ability to read and interpret maps, directions, and technical documentation Experience in a Material support/Supply chain role Willing to work in different shift patterns, including night shift Be proficient in the use of the appropriate Warehouse management and Information systems (SAP SP1,SAP ESP, Airnnav, Microsoft Excel,etc.) Preferably with forklift license or experienced in driving forklift or reach truck The ideal candidate should be service minded, able to multi-task, thorough & tidy, and able to cooperate in a team Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations Be proficient in English, both verbally and in writing This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth
