Are you an experienced retail manager looking for a new challenge? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Shop Manager to join our retail team and help support our shops across eastern Hertfordshire. Each of our stores has its own unique character, and you’ll play a key role in maintaining our high standards and strong reputation. This is a part-time role (3 days over 7), including weekends, travel, and flexibility. A car owner/driver is essential. On occasion there may be the need to switch your location at short notice, so it is essential you are flexible and able to commute between any of our shops. Your Responsibilities: Ensure the shop is always well-presented, clean, and welcoming Recruit, train, and motivate volunteers to support shop operations Provide outstanding customer service and uphold our high standards Maximise sales and profitability while achieving key objectives Encourage Gift Aid sign-ups from donors What We’re Looking For: Retail management experience is essential Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Excellent organisational skills and a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude A team player who leads by example with a positive approach Confident using email, Microsoft Word, and the internet Sales-driven with good merchandising skills Charity retail experience is desirable but not essential Benefits of Joining Our Team: At Isabel Hospice, every employee plays a part in supporting our vital work.
