Job Title: Children Support Worker

About the Role:
Join a therapeutic children's services organisation specialising in 'Intentional Parenting' to support children in residential care. As a Care Support Worker, you will report to the Registered and Deputy Manager, ensuring a supportive living experience for children with complex care needs, including Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities as a Children Support Worker:

Implement the company's therapeutic approach and support care and education programs promoting self-esteem.
*
Develop and review Placement Plans, fostering anti-discriminatory practices.
*
Maintain a nurturing environment and facilitate family/community partnerships.
*
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and maintain accurate records.
*
Participate in team meetings, and training, and duties as needed.
Qualifications and Experience in a Children Support Worker:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or actively working towards) is essential.
*
Experience in a residential care setting is desirable.
*
Good standard of education, preferably with GCSEs in Maths and English.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
*
Have to have had experience working with children
Salary and Benefits:
*
Starting from £25,500 per annum (including one sleep-in every 8 days).
*
28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
*
Overtime opportunities are available.

Hours may vary, with occasional after-hours contact required.
