Job summary The post will primarily be based at East Brighton Community Mental Health Centre, Brighton General Hospital site with the option to also work from Mill View Hospital. This post is full time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Sussex Community Rehabilitation Pathway provides high quality, safe and effective rehabilitation for adults with psychosis and complex mental disorder across Sussex. The team works collaboratively with patients who meet NICE guidance service criteria to deliver personalised rehabilitation in their local area to: o Support a personally meaningful recoveryo Improve subjective quality of lifeo Enable social inclusion and participation in the wider community to achieve personal recovery goals The Sussex Community Rehabilitation Service operates both short and long-term pathways, with short-term pathways offering temporary community rehabilitation input to people for up to 16-weeks and longer-term pathways which offer input to people for an expected minimum of 3 years. Main duties of the job o To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to clinical staff including the manager, supervising the administration team and ensuring the smooth running of the office function, including ensuring sufficient cover is provided in times of sickness and annual leave. To be responsible for maintaining sickness and absence records for all staff and related employee information. o To act as central secretarial and administrative contact point for the team. To supervise junior staff including, where appropriate, allocating workload and reviewing performance. To maintain an overview of the administration function and workflow within the team.
