We are now looking for a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team to help ensure our vehicles are in top working condition. Role Overview: As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of our fleet of buses. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying electrical faults, performing repairs, and ensuring that the buses meet all safety and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform fault diagnosis on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems. Conduct electrical repairs and replacements, ensuring minimal downtime for vehicles. Inspect and test electrical components to ensure their proper functioning. Carry out preventive maintenance tasks to avoid future electrical issues. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure buses are maintained to the highest safety standards. Keep detailed records of repairs and maintenance activities. Provide technical support to other team members when necessary.Requirements: Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally within the bus or commercial vehicle industry. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and fault-finding techniques. Ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical issues. Experience with vehicle diagnostics equipment and software. Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent). Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
