About the Company
At StorTera we are developing a truly sustainable battery. Our key focus is on sustainability and how we can enable 100% renewable energy utilisation through energy storage innovation. Working at StorTera is fast paced and exciting, as together we develop technology that will change the energy system of the future.
Our ground-breaking flow battery is based on lithium sulphur technology that is economical with a long cycle life and high energy density. These characteristics mean that this technology has the potential to revolutionise the energy industry. While developing the flow battery, we supply our small and medium scale lithium-ion battery systems to communities, councils and businesses. We have also developed the TRAICON control platform, which is comprised of three layers of AI that optimise our battery systems from the cell level and also utilise external information such as grid or weather data.
