Job Title: Account Executive
Reports to: Research & Development Manager
Job Purpose: To ensure that all finished goods stock are ready and available to be despatched in line with customer’s orders and requirements whilst adhering to the Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Role Responsibilities:
1. Service Excellence
2. Translation of customer forecasts and orders into accurate production work instructions
3. Responsible for raising, processing and managing customer’s orders
4. Undertake vendor and forecast analysis
5. Maintain and understand internal and external customers' Service Level Agreements (SLA)
6. Investigate and resolve invoice, credit and customer complaints/queries
7. Responsible for the smooth and effective organisation of all administration procedures for the business
8. Use web-based and manual management information systems to support all aspects of the customer service function
9. Ensure customer terms are adhered to and aged stocks are controlled and invoiced accordingly
10. Work closely with Supply Chain to monitor and maintain raw materials and finished goods to Service Level Agreements parameters
11. Liaise on relevant product lines being developed, ordered and shipped in line with customer demand
12. Critical path management to ensure orders are met and timelines adhered to
1. Driving Results
2. Manage department’s Key Performance Indicators to meet agreed targets
3. Investigate and manage corrective actions which arise from feedback
4. Identify and highlight opportunities to increase margins/profitability and efficiencies
5. Highlight opportunities for cost-effective production batching
6. Provide accurate and timely work instructions to production
1. Managing Relationships
2. Develop and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships
3. Provide support to Business Development/Sales function
4. Attend customer briefings/meetings/reviews
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
1. Experience within a B2B Customer Service environment; experience gained within the print packaging industry would be advantageous
2. Experience of managing and developing relationships with multiple customers
3. Experience of continuous improvement initiatives/projects
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
6. Good organisational skills and disciplined approach
7. Good working knowledge of IT software; i.e. Microsoft Office
8. Self-motivation with the ability to think individually with well-reasoned decision-making qualities
9. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced & high-volume manufacturing environment
10. Ability to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basis
11. Flexibility in both thought and action, offering proactive, creative solutions and improvements
