Kitchen Assistant in OL16 1AZ
Role Overview:
The role of a kitchen assistant in a care home involves undertaking general cleaning of all areas within the kitchen and food preparation areas, dry goods store, and dining room, including washing pots/pans and sink duties. You will also clean thoroughly areas such as windows, ledges, and shelves.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of food.
2. Assist in the service of all meals and snacks.
3. Be part of a small team preparing and serving meals to the residents of the home.
4. Be aware of good nutrition and cater for special dietary requirements.
Requirements:
* 12+ months experience as a Kitchen Assistant.
* Experience working in a catering environment.
* Willingness to work with an agency.
Shifts: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Monday to Sunday) OR 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.58 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
