About the Role
We are looking for experienced Assembly Technicians to work on vehicle assembly and test at our state-of-the-art facility in Merthyr Tydfil. Roles last for 24 months on a FTC basis. You'll work to strict specifications, procedures, schematics, and engineering drawings on projects critical to the MOD.

Required skills, qualifications, and experience:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Assembly Technician, Armoured Vehicle Technician, Aircraft Assembly Technician, Mechanical Fitter, or similar role.
* Ability to complete set-ups and perform quality and performance testing.
* Ability to work from written instructions with limited supervision.
* Ability to use hand tools and measuring equipment with high accuracy.
* Ability to liaise with the test support, engineering, and Quality functions.
* Attention to detail and ability to self-inspect work to ensure quality defects are mitigated.
* Hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
* Understanding of clean as you go/6S/FOD/Tool control programs.
* Experienced with quality inspection points and process documentation.
* A very high level of health and safety awareness.
* Ability to take direction well and work as a strong team player.
* Extreme attention to detail and pursuit of perfection.
* Excellent listening and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and problem-solving skills.
