Experienced Accounts Manager Required
Location: Ipswich
Hours: 6 hours per day - between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Flexible with start time)
This position would suit someone from an SME environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to the company directors while recommending further course of action.
2. Month end accounts production and reporting.
3. Oversee operations of the finance department, managing the accounting processes across the organisation.
4. Managing GDPR Compliance.
5. Managing the bank account and payments.
6. Monthly profit and loss reports/yearend figures.
7. Preparation of quarterly VAT return.
8. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
9. Management of two other members of staff.
Desirable Additional Knowledge:
1. Financial reporting - other than the above.
2. Experience within transport industry.
3. Payroll (payroll is currently processed remotely but if the suitable candidate with the right experience were hired, we would like to bring it back in house).
4. Experience in HR.
5. Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register.
Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour
